• Location Data: Used only to calculate accurate prayer times for your city. We do not store or share your location.
• Device Information: Basic device info for crash reporting and app improvement.

• Save and sync your Quran reading progress
• Provide personalized learning experience

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored securely using Google Firebase services. We use industry-standard encryption and security measures to protect your information. Reading progress and preferences are stored locally on your device and optionally synced to the cloud.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Google Firebase: Authentication, data storage, and analytics
• Google Gemini AI: Powers the "Ask Rafiq" Islamic Q&A feature (your questions are processed but not permanently stored)
• Quran.com API: Quran text, translations, and audio recitations

6. Children's Privacy

Rafiq includes a Kids Module designed for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without parental consent. The Kids Module works with local storage only and does not require account creation.

7. Data Sharing

We do NOT sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. Your data may be shared only:

• With your consent
• To comply with legal obligations
• With service providers (Firebase) necessary to operate the app

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Delete your account and all associated data

We retain your data as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data will be permanently removed within 30 days.
